Also reminds me of Fetterman's campaign. Well done!

I read her comments before I saw the clip or the ad. I wondered who wrote her comments. They’re far too literate and far too accurate to be something she wrote. And written in a way seeming to tout them as accomplishments. Left to herself, I’m not sure she would know FDR preceded Johnson, or what each was known for.

Is/was someone on her staff punking her? Knowing she’s too stupid and unaware to realize how positive and pro-Democrat her comments sounded? Do I possibly think too much? Wait, Dan! Do you have a plant on her staff??

Ha, you've hit on what was bothering me about the comments! They were literate, and historically accurate. I've never heard her go on for more than a sentence or two without losing all grammatical sense. And FDR/Johnson - agree. Hmmm... Tantalizing to think about how this could have come about.

I was SO glad to see that ad. Like you said, beside it being well done it shows a virality in response that strengthen's Biden's image. It reinforces his message AND shows he (or those he leads) is on top of things.

I had avoided listening to it (I had read her words) just because the sound of her voice is enough to cause a seizure. (I was going to compare it to fingernails on a chalkboard but not sure everybody knows what that sounds like). But it really is worth watching!

You were kind of lukewarm about Biden’s use of this message on PSA yesterday. Glad to see you’ve come around. I think this should be one of the cornerstone ads of the campaign from here on out...complete with a pointed “I’m Joe Biden and I approve of her message.”

He wasn’t lukewarm. He said it was the ideal ad. He recommended against putting it into a paid ad or actual spot as opposed to how they’re using it.

Love the ad. Go, Team Biden! But I'm still trying to wrap my ODed-on-politics brain around the fact that MTG thinks those are all bad things -- and that her constituents agree with her. I'm also wondering if now she'll start listening to her advisers (if she has any good ones).

Wonder how many of MTG's constituents have benefited from Biden's policies?

Doesn't it make you nuts? Not only are their constituents benefiting, but these Republican twerps are taking credit for policies they voted in lockstep against.

It makes me so aggravated! Some days I feel like I fell down the rabbit hole with Alice and the Red Queen is going to come around shouting, "Off with her head!" Nothing makes sense. Trying to make our society function for ordinary people prompts the stupid Republican gaslighting, except I know they are the crazy people, not me. 😡
