It is sadly not an option available on the platform, which is why I am debating whether to ditch the footnotes all together. Thank you for patience.

But they’re funny strung together as a paragraph as well.

it's worth the effort of the scrolling...don't ditch them!!!

Maybe just put the footnote in brackets immediately after? It'll still be funny. We need the funny.

Sad to see you haven’t figured out the footnote hover reveal. Your efforts to amuse are killed by the hassle factor of scrolling down/back.

As a Texan, it's interesting to see the transition to purple that so many have talked about for 20 years. It's still red in so many ways, but it's great to see the suburbs turning blue. There were so many BLM protest/walks/events in white upper-middle class suburbs where I would have been shocked to have seen while I was in HS. Let's get it done in 2020!

Dan - Thanks for shining a light on this URGENT issue in Texas!! THIS year, we must flip the TX State House, for ALL the reasons you, the Texas Tribune mention. TurningTX.com is working through the Future Now Fund and the TxHDCC to pool mid-level contributions. I think there are 7 Giving Circles around the country. We're one of three in TX. Will find out tonight how much we've raised. May I reprint your article in our newsletter? BTW Bloomberg has pledged $8-$10 million to several state house and congressional races via 'Everytown for Gun Safety,' but we need a WHOLE LOT MORE from him. Hopefully someone is working on that, but we're running out of time.....

I'm catching up now, and I kept repeating to myself:worry about everything, panic about nothing. And I'll channel all this energy into looking up how to help texas turn blue!
