First let’s take a deep breath and let this glorious moment wash over with us. Ah! I am going to start every conversation about him with “Convicted Felon Donald Trump…” I agree that we just need to slowly push this wedge in. Slow and steady. Now excuse me while I go open that bottle of champagne I have chilling.
It is difficult to come up with the exact way to frame this but my deepest hope is that this will call Americans toward building a more perfect union. That is our task. That is the American vision. And that union is a multiracial democracy that embraces diversity, operates on empathy, stands up for those who cannot stand for themselves, and accepts responsibility for doing the right things when needed most. That is the future I dream about. Watching a jury of 12 do the right thing today was a tonic for the soul. How did Dan get this out so fast?
I was making soup when the verdict came in. Stood in the middle of the kitchen and gave that verdict a standing ovation. Finally! A tiny bit of accountability!
I appreciate those in the “media” (too few, and too slowly) who are quickly pivoting to calling this conviction what it actually is: DT was convicted of cheating to win in 2016. Hopefully that may move this up to its rightful place as the crime that in fact affected the entire world in a devastating way with Covid, SCOTUS, Ukraine policy, and Roe.
I think periodic reminders that he wouldn’t be in this mess if he had just stayed in his lane and not run for president would be great too. He could still be happily doing all his crimes if only he had chosen a different want to spend his golden (toilet/shower) years.
Yes, in a moment of historic courage, clarity, and conviction a jury of 12 fairly ordinary citizens (the man truly believes he has no peers) unanimously found him guilty of 34 separate instances of criminal misconduct. It is my understanding that he was not denied his personal freedom at or immediately after that finding. There is more tangled road ahead and fanning the flames of outrage among his faithful will not endear the careless speaker to those of more open minds.

Dan likely had prepared rough drafts for the four main options. It's common to do in journalism when something big is pending
The Wikipedia page has been updated.
I’ll go with royally pissing off Mango Mussolini for 500$ please

That is too good!
Dan hit that send button so fast!!! Today I say something I never thought I would utter: Thank You Pecker!
You know what rhey say--a chicken might not have lips--but he has a pecker.
While I was a little disturbed by the jury deliberation countdown ticker on MSNBC, I was okay with Ari Melber reading guilty for each count.

Like an obituary for an aging Hollywood star Dan was ready to go.
Wow, record response time. Do you already have the Message Box on Lovett’s Survivor elimination drafted up?
“Long From Over?” Lotta good PSA headlines writing themselves!

Moderate minds can entertain a moderate opinion
